Oatmeal with Dates, Almonds, and Maple Syrup

Ingredients

2 cups filtered water 

1 cup instant oats 

Pinch of salt 

2 medjool dates, pitted, coarsely chopped 

2 tbsp shaved unsweetened coconut flakes 

2 tbsp toasted sliced almonds 

Pure maple syrup, for drizzling

Method

Step 1

Bring water to boil in the Boil IQ

Step 2

Pour hot water over oats in medium heat safe bowl. Stir to blend. Let oatmeal sit for 2 to 3 minutes, or until liquid is absorbed and oatmeal is tender.

Step 3

Stir and spoon oatmeal into two serving bowls and top with dates, coconut, and almonds. Drizzle syrup to taste and serve.
